Rain, red wine, sheep, champagne and amazing people all seem to equate to an awesome wedding day!
Yesterday, myself and my second shooter, Sarah had the pleasure of photographing Rachael and Tom’s nuptials. Although I had been trying to perform a successful “sun dance” to increase the chances of a sunny day, the heavens decided to open (which may be a reflection on the quality of my sun dance) but, the rain wasn’t going to stop us from having a beautifully successful day.
The whole day was hosted at the gorgeous Pendrell Hall, beginning with bridal preparation in the small cottage on the grounds, then moving into the bridal suite in the main building.
The ceremony was kicked off by the brides brother reading a writing by Bob Marley, which was sublime. Following the ceremony we had the speeches by the Father of the bride with some top tips on how to sustain a happy marriage, the best man with some incredibly revealing anecdotes and finished with Tom, sharing his gratitude for the people attending and his beautiful wife!
The night ended with everyone cutting shapes to the music of The Fanatics.
Here is a selection of images from the day, enjoy!
